All of the belt moldings on the car door windows are either melting (as the one photo I attached of the driver's side reveals) and are starting to deteriorate on the other three windows. The quarter glass molding is in tact.I believe this is a product failure. I believe Honda, once again, used cheap material on this portion of the car. I called the 1800 number to report the problem and asked them to replace all the door moldings at goodwill. They told me I would have to go to a Honda dealership and have them evaluate the problem and make the determination. I also have to pay the $100 diagnostic fee. ...I seriously doubt the Honda dealer is going to say that this is a product failure. I park my Honda under a carport to protect it from the harsh sun but there is a problem when everyone of the door moldings is either melted or deteriorating.
With all of these car problems, one would think Honda would try to keep customers by fixing issues like this instead of making their customers jump through hoops. Disappointed in Honda.
