CarComplaints.com Notes: 2011 Honda CR-V owners are reporting problems where the engine revs when braking.
Our data is showing early signs of a defect trend, so that's why we've flagged the 2011 CR-V with our "Beware of the Clunker" rating. Time will tell whether this continues to be a problem, & if so, whether Honda will be able to identify the problem & fix it.
I have a 2011 Honda CRV. There is a "pin hole" in my AC condenser. It is still under warranty, but the dealership claims a rock must have hit it and put a pin hole in it, which they say is not under warranty. They want over $1000 to replace. I searched Internet, and there seems to be problems with the placement of condenser and condensers themselves. I am going to call Honda Headquarters, but I am not optimistic. General Manager says not covered. I think it is a design flaw in the condenser itself. People tell me a rock won’t typically make a pin hole, just a dent. And if it did, why isn't the condenser protected? Two years old!
