The contact owns a 2010 Honda CR-V. the contact stated that the vanity light bulb in the passenger side visor was extremely hot, which was a fire hazard and drained the vehicle's battery. The contact spoke with the dealer (dch Honda of oxnard, 1500 ventura blvd, oxnard, ca 93036, (805) 204-4787) about replacing the battery and was informed that the entire visor needed to be replaced. The vehicle was not repaired. The failure mileage was 75,000.
Rear glass shattered spontaneously on the parking lot after starting the car. No passing cars (or stones) around. No damage to rear glass prior to accident.
The windshield is badly distorted. It looks like bubbles inside of the glass making visibility extremely difficult. I can not see out of windshield and am concerned that being unable to see I will end up in a crash. Honda dealer refuses to replace windshield stating it is an insurance issue. It is not an insurance issue; it is clearly a manufacturing defect.
