CarComplaints.com Notes: While the 2009 CR-V still came equipped with tires that wear out faster than my Grandpa after a turkey dinner, Honda did address an electrical problem with the door locks that plagued owners of previous model years.
erratic idle, p0507 code
Vehicle will idle erratically while driving in town. Will surge RPM's when in traffic and slowing down. It popped a code P0507 for idle rpm higher then expected. It will idle perfectly when just sitting still. Watch the video link I have attached.
Things I have tried:
Cleaned Throttle Body (No changes)
Tried a different Throttle Body (No changes and put the original back on)
Replaced EGR valve gasket (thought a leak, no changes)
Carb cleaner trick on all vacuum lines looking for leaks (found nothing)
Idle Relearn procedures after every attempt
Things the dealership has tried for the past 3 days with no luck:
PCV valve replacement
ECM flash
Cleaned idle air control built into Electronic TB
Looking at a possible ECM replacement. If they come up with a solution I will update. Searching for answers from anyone, please help before I leave this thing in a shady neighborhood with the keys in it.
