CarComplaints.com Notes: While the 2009 CR-V still came equipped with tires that wear out faster than my Grandpa after a turkey dinner, Honda did address an electrical problem with the door locks that plagued owners of previous model years.

I was told by the Honda dealer in Lisle Illinois when I brought it in for an oil change that I needed new brakes. There was only 30% left. I drove the car home to TN and because of lack of funds it took a while for me to save the money for new brakes. My mechanic (whom I trust very much) said that he had to change the rotors along with the brakes because the rotors had wore out the brakes. I asked if this is unusual and he said absolutely. He said "the brakes wear out, then the rotors go, not the other way around."
I am complaining about this because it sounds like the same problem Honda had with the rotors being warped on the 2008 Accord. I have not read of any recalls on this vehicle for the rotors. Sad that you can buy a brand new car (it was new inn 2009) and find out that they probably knew these rotors were warped, yet didn't do anything about it.
