The first torque converter went out at 85,000 miles, as it did on my 2007 CRV. Now, at 120,000 miles, it is going out again, at a cost of over 2000.00. I have gone on line and it seems to be a nationwide problem all the way up to the 2015 models of CRV and Elements. Honda knows there is a problem, but they are sticking their head in the sand and ignoring it, which I do not appreciate. I guess they are now building the sales of Subaru's, because this is the third Torque Converter in two CRV's, and enough is enough. They know there is a problem, and they need to stand up and stand behind their product like they used you. Honda used to be the best built car, but now they are acting like the American motor companies where they just dont care, and if they arent careful, they are going to lose it all.
