CarComplaints.com Notes: Honda redesigned the CR-V for the 2007 model year to kick off the 3rd-generation of the popular SUV. Unfortunately that redesign came with malfunctioning door locksand shoddy tires that wear out fast.
I WENT TO THE DEALER BECAUSE I HAD JUST REPAIRED MY DOOR LOCK REPAIRED ( ONLY TO FIND OUT IT WAS UNDER WARRANTY AND IT WASN'T GONNA BE HONORED) AND ASKED ABOUT RECALLS THAT I HAD SEEN ON THE NEWS. I WAS TOLD THEY WOULD HAVE TO ORDER PARTS FOR THE RECALL FOR THE SEAT BELT. UNTIL THIS DAY I'M STILL WAITING ON THE PART AND THEY ARE TELLING ME THAT I SHOULD NOT DRIVE ANYONE IN THE FRONT SEAT OF MY CAR. I REALLY THINK THIS IS SOME BOGUS BULL CRAP!
Called HONDA in Burien, Wa, replacement air bag not available until JULY 2016! "if you are concerned HONDA will pay up to $ 35.00 for rental car." It looks like there are a wide range of possible dangers. Most in high humidity areas. Still not worth the risk for the family.
We will take the offer of the rental car.
