Trunk door won't stay up. Obviously the trunk shock absorbers/struts, but Honda dealership I called said there would be a diagnostic charge of $70 to find the problem and she could not say if this would be covered under my extended warranty. No word on the
Honda website if this is covered by extended warranty, but I guess I'll find out when I bring into dealership.
Update from Apr 18, 2011: Not covered under the extended warranty. $310 plus taxes to repair.
Update from Apr 22, 2011: I informed Honda of the problem and did not raise a stink. They contacted the dealership and offered to pay for the $250 in parts. I ended up paying $60 in labour to the dealership...so quite happy with Honda's response.
