CarComplaints.com Notes: Honda redesigned the CR-V for the 2007 model year to kick off the 3rd-generation of the popular SUV. Unfortunately that redesign came with malfunctioning door locksand shoddy tires that wear out fast.
Stay away from Kings County Honda, Kentville, Nova Scotia, Canada. They are the MOST dishonest people I have ever dealt with, they told me every lie in the book to sell me this vehicle and when I returned the vehicle for this and other issues I had they could not help me. The seal is not properly done on the rear inner wheel well.
Portland Street Honda, Dartmouth NS, have been looking after me and have been the MOST honest folks I've ever met in the auto industry. Give them a try, you won't be sorry you did.
After noticing paint blisters on my tailgate I looked the CRV over closely and noticed a bumpy edge on the fender right at the wheel well. I looked more closely and the rust is coming up from under the paint in the area where the black plastic fender guard presses up against the fender. I think moisture is held in by the plastic guard and cannot escape and so after a period of time rust starts to build.
Note that I have Krown rust controlled this car from day 1 ... and every other vehicle I have do not have any similar problems
