We had a 2006 Honda CRV. In a 2 week period we experienced 2 rear wheel blow outs. The first occurred on a city road after driving on the toll way. It was a sidewall blowout. The second occurred about 2 weeks later while driving on the toll way. My wife was driving when she experienced a left rear tire blow out. It caused the vehicle to spin out of control, hit a semi, and roll over several times. My wife suffered serious injuries and is still unable to be out of bed for more than a short time. The car was a total loss. As of this time, no results are in as to the cause of the sidewall blowouts.
