2006 Honda CRV, second one in 14 years, has decided it is exceptionally thirsty for extra oil past month or so. Halfway through 5k oil change oil light comes on, ck oil, its low! two plus quarts low, top oil off, couple days later and less than 50 miles a day, more oil...WTH?
Reviewed several online blogs and http://www.nhtsa.gov/ to find out that the Honda's oil consumption issue is widespread and scarily accepted by Honda.
Dropping CRV off at Dealer this Friday, lets just say that our conversation may not be pleasant.
