For a brief history with this vehicle and Honda...see my previous rant under Transmission Problems...but as we need to list each item separately....

While my 2005 Honda CRV was in the shop having its transmission rebuilt I was also advised that one of the differential bearings had gone bad and would need to be replaced...oh did this add to my excitement especially when told by the dealer that the extended warranty I had purchased would not be in effect...dreading the added cost I had to inquire how much this was going to be to get fixed and once again had pity taken on me when told the part itself was only about $30 and they would go ahead and take care of it while they were rebuilding the transmission for FREE!!!

So it all comes down to...Never again would I buy a vehicle from Gerry Wood Honda in Salisbury NC ( I wouldn't recommend anyone else does either)...it appears my Honda CRV is a money pit of problems...I have exceptional taste in repair shops who are more than reasonable and take pity on this single mom of 2 who thought she was getting a reliable vehicle for her family...and Honda is no longer my favorite car manufacturer.
