Dropping my daughter off at school, the car quit in the drop off line. (And as most moms-I was in my pajamas, slippers, no makeup, etc...EMBARASSING!) All lights came on and rattling noise could be heard under the hood. Driving to school, the car wouldn't accelerate and was making a horrible whirring noise. Turns out the spark plug TIP had blown off and made its way through wherever it could find a place to bounce around, ruining my head cylinder, and melted the coils. I don't have the VIN because it's in the shop, but the mechanic has to take the head cylinder off to see what other damage this loose "tip" has done, and he can't find where it went in the engine. I see other issues through the years that Honda has had many issues with the sparkplugs and similar issues. I was hoping I would come across some type of a recall, but I don't see anything.
