2003 Honda CRV. Consumer states problem with vehicle air bag light illuminating. The dealer informed the consumer the air bag module needed to be replaced at a cost of $800. Updated 10/10/12
2003 Honda CRV. Consumer writes in regards to recall 11V260000 concerning vehicle airbags. The consumer was involved in an accident on January 30, 2012, and consequently, the driver's air bag failed to deploy. However, the passenger side air bag did deploy, even though there was no one occupying the seat. The consumer stated he received the recall notice on January 26,2012.
I was in an automobile accident with my Honda CRV. A car turned in front of me and I was unable to stop. I broad-sided the vehicle and the passenger air bag opened but my air bag did not deploy but there was gas coming out of the dash on the driver's side. I went to the hospital by ambulance and sustained neck and back injuries. The car was declared a total loss.
