This car vibrates a lot when I am driving at any speed. It has been going on for several years. I did not find out the specific problem until 3/15/2014. I had three different mechanics look at the car for the problem. They all said that the rear U-joint on the propeller shaft is badly damaged. This U-joint is not repairable by Honda design because it is a part of the propeller shaft. According to the Honda dealer, the entire shaft must be replaced at a cost of about $1800. I believe that it is a manufacturing defect. The propeller was probably defective when I bought the car. According to the mechanics, they have never seen this problem before. This car has never been in any major accident to cause this problem. It is a safety hazard which should be covered by Honda. The problem was probably there when I bought the car but it has gotten worse since then. My husband and I have driven the car mostly locally all these years. My husband, [xxx], has my permission to act on my behalf in this matter. [xxx] information redacted pursuant to the Freedom Of Information Act (FOIA), 5 U.S.C. 552(B)(6).

Driving the car became unmanageable--shimmy, shudder, steer pulling. I determined at least two of the tires had "warped" when looking at the face of the tire.
