Exhaust valves on my 2000 Honda CRV charred and exhaust valve in cylinder #1 chipped and charred. All valves and #1 seats had to be replaced. I understand that this seems to be a common design problem to 2000 CRV's and civics.
On 4/11/15 at 3:00 am we were woken up to see our Honda CRV ex which was parked on our driveway next to our house was engulfed in fire. It was a ball of fire. The last it was driven was on 4/9/15 at 5:00 pm, so the car was not drive for 34 hours. We did not have any problems prior to this incident. The car was completely burned and there is damaged to our house because of the car fire.
