I bought a Honda, like most people, to avoid problems both major and minor and have had more of both than most every other car I have owned; the only exception being a Saab. I replaced the drive shaft at 80,000. Now at 120K the transmission is making a whining sound. And every time I lower the windows I am afraid they won't go back up. The window motors seem about to give out. If the car were somewhat fun to drive, one could maybe overlook these things, but this car can't get out of it's own way. It is woefully underpowered. It downshifts on the slightest grade or in the least bit of headwind. Awful.
