radiator failure
On May 19, 2017, while driving the vehicle, it began to show signs of overheating. Driver got out of the vehicle and proceeded to the front of the vehicle to check it when, before opening or even touching the hood, hot fluid including antifreeze spewed out of the grill and from under the hood of the vehicle, resulting in second and third degree burns to the driver's wrists, both thighs and lower extremities. The driver of the vehicle removed her clothing so that the burned skin would not be further compromised and called 911 where they were transported by ambulance to the hospital for treatment. The injuries required skin grafts to the driver's thighs. The driver remains hospitalized as of June 1, 2017 due to their severe injuries.
