auto window continuous jamming and battery high costs
First issue:
I purchased my Honda Ballade 1.5 Comfort Auto in September 2013, almost immediately the vehicle's driver-side window presented alot of problems. When pressing the button for the window to roll up or down, the window jams mid-way. It is a problem in South Africa, with our high hi-jacking and crime rate. A number of times, i could not roll-the-window up, and felt unsafe by approaching people on street corners, who attempt to ask for money (a common thing in South Africa). The window, jams and refuses to draw upwards to the full extent of closure. The window, gets stuck and starts to reverse in motion, back to full exposure of openness.
I have resorted to the measures of trying to never open the window for fresh air. As every 10 minute interval, in my journey home, is a stop-and-start at traffic lights. Of which, there is always someone standing at the traffic lights, begging or asking for money. And a common hi-jacking risk in South Africa.
My beautiful luxury Honda Ballade Comfort auto, has limitations. And 3 years later - the problem still persists.
I have complained about the problem to the dealership. They have looked at the problem, a number of times. Each time the evaluation is that the window has been fixed. But it hasn't been fixed, as the problem is still continuous.
