A month after buying this car my screen lit up informing me that my lane-changing, my crash mitigation system, and several other items were not working and I should take it to the dealer. The dealer said that all of the sensors were behind the "H" emblem on the grill and that it was probably dirty, so they washed the car and the messages went away. A week later the same messages came on and they kept the car for a day and a half and ran tests on the settings and found nothing. I was told that this is occurring because I was using the feature called "Brake Hold" and it wasn't releasing. I was told that you had to release it each time you used it, but the manual said that it would automatically release when I hit the accelerator. The person I dealt with said that this was a feature that should not be on cars because it causes problems and that I should not use it. What the heck, it is a safety feature, and it is something that I paid for. If it is causing problems, the solution is NOT to use it? Are you kidding me? Even my salesperson said that was a ridiculous statement to make and that if a car had a feature that you paid for it should work.
