There is no possible way to Do-it-yourself on a fix of the assembly unit. It is sealed entirely and the DRL strip is soldered into the assembly. There are no parts you can repair. Having the entire unit replaced is absolutely ridiculous and I've seen plenty of 9th generation Accord's with DRL's that are burnt out on the road. Now I'm waiting for my driver side DRL to burn out.
