I was receiving above the factory sticker more than 90% of the time. Then I took the car into Crown Honda in Greensboro NC for an oil change and tire rotation. I also mentioned that when on the highway as the car would switch from EV to Gas, the transition was harsh. When I left the engine was running ruff and my MPG were showing much less. The gasoline engine was staying on almost constantly and the battery was taking twice as long to charge. Even going downhill, the gasoline engine was staying on and if I take my foot off of the gas the car slows down, even going downhill. It is as if there is some load always on the car that was not there before.

I went to the dealer more times than I remember and they say nothing is wrong. I opened a complaint with Honda #09152255 they did nothing and refuse to do anything. Now that we are past the 36,000 mile warranty, they suggest that I spend my own time and money driving to multiple dealerships and paying for them to do diagnostics until I find someone who will say that there is a problem.

I don't know what to do. There is a big difference between 60+MPG and 35MPG. The only other shot in the dark that crossed my mind is that they changed the software because of the CRV and their gasoline dilution problem since hybrids turn the engine on and off - they may have been trying to prevent the same type of complaint, but that is only a guess.
