Tried replacing the hybrid battery since a scan indicated the battery was bad, though it was still functioning. I had this check light coming on and the IMA light too. After a successful replacement I noticed the new battery was not even good and brought this battery indication on the dash board on. This was never there so I returned the old battery, started the vehicle it was ok, no battery check light. Though I still had the IMA indication and check light on but everything was ok . After parking the car for an hour the vehicle alarm came on. I rush out thinking it was a burglar but only noticed the dashboard lights were all on. I opened the vehicle, popped the hood and disconnected the 12v battery. Yhen replaced the connections hoping it will clear the dash, but it still had all the lights flashing. I tried starting the car, it came on via hybrid start but when I switched off the ignition the car wouldn't go off. Ihad to disconnect the hybrid connection to the engine to stop the engine running. So how do I solve this issue because if I reconnect the vehicle and start the same thing happens?
