Airbag sign above gas comes up every now and then and stays on for a while until I turn off the engine. Took vehicle to dealer but he said that he cannot do anything until he sees light. But light doesn't stay on all the time.
Similar issue as report 10659813. The airbag/seatbelt light above the gas gauge randomly stays lit. Doesn't happen each time the vehicle is used, and occurs more in cold weather than warm. Dealer has been notified several times and each time states that they could not do anything unless we brought the vehicle to them while the light was on. This situation does not happen consistently enough to allow us to take it to a dealer when the light is on.
The contact owns 2005 Honda Accord hybrid. The contact stated that the air bag warning light illuminated intermittently. The vehicle was taken to the dealer for a diagnosis of the failure. The technician stated that there was a code which read 6110 pertaining to an open circuit in the left front seat buckle switch. The vehicle was not repaired. The manufacturer was notified of the failure. The approximate failure mileage was 109,000.
