I have excessive oil sludge in my engine, typically caused by NOT keeping your oil changed properly and timely. I purchased my Crosstour new and have had my oil changed every time the oil indicator said 15% change your oil, as suggested in manual, often at 20%. So that is not what caused this in my engine, the Honda Dealer said this has happened with several Crosstour models and suggested I sell it as soon as possible. The best thing about me car is that it is PAID for! It is only 7 years old and should not have had all of these issues.
I have had a new drive shaft installed, starter, axel yes both replaced, the censor on my engine has been replaced now 4 times, (at $800 a pop that is excessive. The censor will continue to need replacing due to the sludge in my oil, as the filter attached to the censor will clog up from the sludge and cause the censor to burn out and I will need to replace it again.
My car shakes excessively at 40 MPH then smooths out around 65-70. Unfortunately the speed limit in a majority of my commute to work and home is 55 MPH, so it shakes all the way to work and all the way home. I was told I needed the axle replaced, I did that $$$$$, still shakes. Dealer said I don't know what to tell you, we can't get it to stop shaking. I give up - Trading it in for "Not another Honda" no way! Thanks for listening
