Accord Crosstour EXL 3.5L V6

  • Automatic transmission

Vehicle started vibrating while accelerating, the higher the torque the worse the vibration. Took the vehicle in to the dealership and was told both front axles are warped (bent). This vehicle has not been involved in an accident. The torque from the engine warped the axles. I called Honda Customer Service to report the issue, and after they spoke with the dealership, Honda will replace the axles. However, the axles have been placed on indefinite back order. This issue is ongoing with many Crosstour owners. I am waiting for a follow up call from Honda for a status update on the axles and/or a solution.

Accord Crosstour EX-L 3.5L

  • Automatic transmission
  • 58,000 miles

Honda fixed this the first time by changing passenger side axle. Now at 90,000, doing the same. Honda tells me the axles are on back order. I called several aftermarket axle makers and they won't tool up to build this axle since the market is limited. They said Honda has called them to make axles. Apparently this is happening to many Crosstours.
