ABS/ airbag system staying on and it appears to be affecting charging system issues and/or alternator! diagnostic test show ABS & charging system issues. My car is now inoperable!!
The contact owns a 2010 Honda Accord crosstour. The contact stated that the steering column shook without warning. The vehicle was taken to the dealer where it was diagnosed that the front axles were damaged and needed to be replaced. The vehicle could not be repaired due to the parts being on back order. The manufacturer was notified of the failure. The failure mileage was approximately 60,000.
Right front axle has been on indefinite back order with no eta. Vehicle is unsafe to drive and there are no after-market replacements available. Vehicle rattles and shakes upon acceleration and braking.
The contact owns a 2010 Honda Accord cross tour. While driving approximately 70 mph, the contact experienced severe vibration in the steering wheel, including the front driver and passenger seats. In addition, the brake pedal would pulsate upon engaging. The vehicle was taken to an authorized dealer who stated the vibration was a characteristic of the vehicle. The manufacturer was made aware of the problem. The approximate failure mileage was 9,153. Updated 01/13/12
