On 3 separate occasions, I lost a significant amount of power while driving. It would happen suddenly and could not drive over 50 mph without severely bogging down. Not cool when driving on I-10! It still drove like crap under 50 mph. CIL code registered p3400. Strangely, after turning the car off and restarting the car would drive fine again. The 3 events happened several months apart.
I replaced the rear rocker arm oil pressure switch (super easy) and has been ok for the past 6 months now. I am expecting the front rocker arm oil pressure switch to fail eventually too (which would be p3497 CIL). This is a known problem.
