For over the past year my check engine light has been 'on'. Different repairs have been made to correct the error codes but nothing yet has worked. The repair codes are P3400 and P3497. When the codes are reset, the check engine light only comes on when I'm on the highway driving. If I was to drive in the city I'm confident it would not come on.
I've looked on YouTube and it appears these error codes are a real pain with other Honda models. I'm not aware of a recall to date.
I have apprehension of paying over $350 to 'fix' change the oil pressure switches as I believe the check engine light will come back on.
