The contact received notification of NHTSA Campaign Number: 24V763000 (Fuel System, Gasoline); advising to contact the dealer for fuel pump recall inspection; however, the contact was significantly concerned about safety and believed that the fuel pump needed to be replaced regardless of whether there was a leak or not. The local dealer was contacted and confirmed that the fuel pump needed to be inspected and would be replaced as necessary. The contact was adamant and afraid that the vehicle could catch on fire after it had already passed inspection. The manufacturer was made aware of the issue.
