This is actually the fourth time this has happened in four months. The dealership kept my car for two days and did nothing. I picked up my car and told them that when they figure out what they’re gonna do I will bring it back. I brought it back after the weekend. They insisted that it was because the DOT was different on the tires and it was triggering the sensors which is crazy to me. They also told me that in the future if I get a flat I will have to buy and replace at least two new tires if not all. If this is true, they are all insane if they think I will keep this pos.
They told me they were going to replace my two back tires that were in perfectly good condition. I still insisted it was the system, and how the heck is this going to solve my problem in the long run? So I took it in and they replaced the tires which took 3.5 hours. In their defense they did offer me a loaner, but I asked how long it would take and they said an hour so I don’t think it was worth it.
I drove it home and ran in to grab something and came back out to run to the store and when I turned it on I had THREE warning lights.
Brake System Problem, Anti-lock Brake System problem and Tire Monitor System Problem. This was today. I cringe at what I will have to go through this week.
