transmission systems problem light on

I've had this vehicle since January and it has been giving me trouble ever since. Today's problem is the Transmission System Problem light came on. Since I bought the car I noticed that it jerks when shifting from 1st to 2nd gear and I took it to the dealer and after the technician who noticed it also called American Honda they told us that the new Honda do that. Now that the light is on I know that the jerking is not normal.
