A loud clicking/knocking noise that sounds dangerous while steering the vehicle at low speed; such as turning into a parking spot or making a u-turn. The noise occurs throughout the day but is not constant. My vehicle has been inspected several times and Honda claims to not hear this loud noise. As soon as I drive away I hear it and all of my passengers hear it. This noise started at the beginning of 2023.

After this car was repaired by the body shop, all the automatic systems in the car started flashing and no one could figure out why. It went to four different repair shops over several months, till finally they convinced me to purchase another vehicle when this one was going to be paid off in two months. This problem was well documented by several repair places, and ultimately since it was unrepairable I had to trade it in and got bottom dollar for a non-running car that I owned since the beginning and got screwed.

The warning lights appear out of nothing and the issue has happened without an incident. I-??ve been scared to drive my car with all these dash lights on. I don-??t feel safe and I don-??t want to put my life or kids life in danger.

Everytime I drive my car for a few hours the EPS light comes on and I have to pull over and turn my car and on. I have reached out to the dealer and they refuse to fix it. It has been happening for about 2 years. Close to 3.

My automatic braking system is activating sporadically with no apparent object in front of me. My car has suddenly come to a complete stop while driving on Market Street, York PA when there was no traffic in front or to the side of me and luckily no one behind me. The "BRAKE" alert flashed and the car literally screeched to a stop. This happened again when I was in Stewartstown, PA and was starting to go over railroad tracks, it suddenly stopped. Again, no one was in front of me or behind me. I routinely drive I-83 from York to Harrisburg 3 days a week to go to work. If this would happen to me on I-83, this would cause a serious accident. I contacted Apple Honda and was told the system is just really "touchy" and there is no fix. The person I spoke with said a leaf blowing across the road could trigger the system. I have to deactivate the anti-collision feature whenever I drive. This is a serious issue that has been around for several years according to researching the issue and Honda refuses to fix this.

THE STEERING WHEEL IS NOT A SMOOTH TRANSITION FROM 12 O'CLOCK TO 1 O'CLOCK OR TO 11 O'CLOCK WHILE DRIVING ON HIGHWAY. FEELS LIKE THE STEERING WHEEL STICKS AND RELEASES EVEN WHEN DRIVING ON A SMOOTH STRIGHT ROAD. The dealer recommends replacing the steering rack, which is unbelievably expensive!

I bought this vehicle 8-25-2021. It had 22,000 miles on it. It now has 46,000 miles on it. I was feeling a vibration while driving. 7-31-2022 coming back from Louisiana into Texas I had a flat. When my husband removed the back tire to place the spare on, the tire was absolutely eaten up on the inside wall. There were chunks of rubber missing from the tire and we looked at other rear tire and it was worn beyond repair. I took my car 8-1-2023 to have 2 new back tires replaced and get an alignment, which has to be all wheel alignment due to front wheel drive. I was told that the rear camber had gone out. They quoted me $1000 to repair. I drive 40 miles one way to work Monday through Friday all highway. I do not drive over the speed limit and do not hit pot holes or curbs. Nowhere in my manual is there a schedule for alignment. I will attach a picture of the tires that were taken off 8-1-2022. This very upsetting and dangerous. I would think that a part that serious would last longer than 46,000 miles. And no one can align the tires do to this camber being broken. I don-??t have the money to replace tires that often due to a defect on Honda America. I have read numerous posts from other Honda owners having this same issue. Thank you for your time and consideration. Have a blessed day.

When driving this car at any speed above 30 mph the steering wheel sticks when attempting to turn or make any steering adjustments. This happens while the steering wheel is centered and the car is moving strait forward. This is a dangerous situation when driving in heavy traffic at highway speeds.

Honda Accord 2014 - beginning in February/March 2021 driving on a major thruway early morning, my car kept veering from the lane. Warning light "steering required" kept coming on. I could feel the car shaking. This occurred numerous times over the 6 hour trip. Very frightening trying to keep control of the car, trying to keep it from veering out of the lane, while the car is shaking. The "steering required/lane departure" warnings terrified me. This occurred again on another morning on an interstate highway. Car kept veering. Warning signs coming on. Car shaking.

At highway speeds, 55 mph or faster, on several occasions the steering becomes difficult to hold the car in a straight line. The steering becomes harder than normal to initiate a turn of the steering wheel. After applying more pressure than normal, the steering wheel will suddenly move causing a larger than desired steering correction. Because of the extra-large steering correction another correction will be needed in the other direction, but the steering resist turning in the other direction until extra force is applied to the steering wheel, then the steering wheel will suddenly move and cause an overcorrection in the other direction. This problem has only happened after driving the car for more than an hour, usually after 3 hours. The steering problem can still be present after stopping at a rest area and turning the car off, but when the problem does finally go away it is always after the car has been turned off. The problem when present does not always cause the same resistance to turning the steering wheel. Sometimes the problem is slight and others it is very severe to the point where it is very difficult to keep the car in the lane using 2 hands there are 19 complaints on the NHTSA website for the same problem with the 2018 Honda Accord. Feb of 2020 flow Honda of winston-salem replaced the rack and pinion and I didn't have any further problem until recently when on a trip from nc to fl when the steering problem reappeared. After stopping at a rest area for a 15 min. Stop the steering problem was gone. This was the first occurrence of the problem since the rack and pinion was replaced. On the NHTSA website there are 2 people who complain that their steering problem reappeared after the rack and pinion had been replaced. On Feb. 8, 2021 I returned the Accord to flow Honda of w-S for the 4th time and was told there was nothing they could do.

Electronic steering rack part has a manufacturing fault that causes the steering wheel to lock up and then oversteer, especially at highway speeds, causing vehicle to leave the lane and a massive safety issue. Manufacturer has not done anything yet to recall the cars to fix the issue despite this problem existing in multiple versions of this electronic steering column. Part number 53600-tva-A18 has been replaced by multiple new models of this part but have not acknowledge the production issue with the part to recall the cars and pay for the repairs. The steering column models have been through multiple revisions but Honda has not recalled the older models, 53620-tvc-A67, 53620-tvc-A68, 53600-tva-A19, 53620-tva-A28, 53620-tvc-A64, 53620-twa-A28, 53620-tvc-A64.
