Bought this Accord Sport in April of 2018 at Brilliance Honda in Crystal Lake IL. Twice now (one happening today) had while driving on cruise control behind a car all of a sudden disengage cruise control and a Collision Mitigation Braking System Problem See your dealer. Since the dealership doesn't consider this emergent they tell me to schedule an appt. I did on Fridaay and got the appt for Monday. In that time I didn't drive the car in fear of more issues happening.
Like others on this page I have had the Brake sign flash for no reason with nothing in front of me. Thankfully I have never had the same issues as others had yet with it just stopping, but it has done it many time. When I started it Monday to get it to appt the warning disappeared and when brought to the dealership the code even in history of the CPU was not there.
They factory reset the CPU it went away and now a month later it has done it again. I even contacted Honda Corporation they called me and called the dealership saw no concern and closed the case. I wrote them again and will demand a recall fix for it, as I now see I am not the only one with these issues. Also noticed that the tire pressure sensors do not work when on a cold day I check to see how my tire pressure was doing and at 27 psi well below the warning indication it was not indicating any low tire pressure.
Honda you need to do a mandatory recall for this. Major issue that needs to be addressed.
