This has happened several times. I went to dealer once because it seems to reset itself. I am unsure of the mileage/date on the vehicle the times that it happened, but it was early on. Everything goes blank.
Display goes out going down the road and then comes back on. Sucks if you are trying to use the maps or listening to music. Dealership has been informed. Cannot fix it because they cannot duplicate problem.
While going down the road the screen goes blank for a few minutes. Radio quits working maps and all functions concerning the unit go out, then it reboots about a minute or two later. Mentioned it to the dealer. They can't fix it if they can't get a hard fail. Bummer for me. Car is still under warranty. I just don't want to pay for it when the warranty expires.
I bought 2018 Honda Accord brand new and thought it was a good choice, however, seeing how Honda will not fix the issue with the infotainment system I will never buy another Honda product again. I believe Honda knew the car had defective component in it and still sold it to me. My dash lights also go out when my infotainment system shuts down. With only 958 miles on it when the first problem happened and Honda said they fixed it, surprise, surprise. My car has close to 15k miles on it and still not fixed.
