The trunk would not release using the remote key fob or by depressing the local unlock button. The vehicle doors also would not unlock by touching the handle or by depressing the remote key fob unlock function. On both occasions (this happened once before 13 Nov 2018, not sure of the exact date but it was after N47 that applied). My purse and iPhone X were inside the trunk on both occasions, and I had the remote key fob in my jacket pocket. I was able to correct the issue on both occasions by locking and unlocking the doors 5-6 times, eventually it worked and I could then unlock the trunk as well. The N47 recall was applied on 5 Oct 2018. The Whitby Ontario Honda Service department was unable to diagnose the issue as there were no errors nor could they reproduce the problem.
