When reversing to parking space the car jumped and wouldn't go, I had to put it in drive and put on reverse again and it did the same thing about five times when I finally parked. It was very scary . It did this once before months ago but I didn't report it because it didn't repeat itself when my husband drove the car to test it.

while backing up, car seemed to go into nuetral, high rpm's

I am totally Pissed.. I contacted Honda corporate. The person named Tony gave me a case number, He tried to help. Even set me up with a rental. The problem with the vehicle is as fellows: When backing down the drive way, which has a slight incline to the street, with the shift in the reverse position, while turning the steering wheel to the left, the vehicle seemed to snap into neutral-- the engine would then run at very high rpm's. There would be a loud whining noise, along with some clunking sounds. When I got to the street, the noise stopped, I shifted into drive, after a few seconds the car lurched forward. This problem is not consistent, and I never know when it will happen. The mechanics can not duplicate this problem. They can not fix was "is Not Busted" This is getting to be a BIG PAIN IN THE ASS!!!

Pissed, concerned! The mechanics could not duplicate The problem. I told the agents at the repair shop that it might be a random problem. When backing up from the garage, down a slight incline, with the shift in reverse, the rpm's would suddenly run at a high rate--the transmission seemed to have shifted into neutral. There was a loud whining noise with "clunking sounds". In the meantime I was turning the steering wheel to the left to enter the street. After a few seconds or so, the noise stopped, I shifted into drive, and the vehicle "snapped forward.
