The contact stated that the failure occurred while driving on the highway. The vehicle was taken to an independent mechanic where it was diagnosed with a failed fuel pump module. The contact was informed that the fuel pump module needed to be replaced. The vehicle was not repaired. The dealer was made aware of the failure. The manufacturer was made aware of the failure. The failure mileage was approximately 70,000.

The vehicle was later driven to the local dealer who diagnosed the vehicle and determined that the high-pressure fuel pump was faulty and needed to be replaced. The vehicle was not yet repaired. Intermittent loose power while accelerating, while making turns. Turning the car battery on the waiting 3 seconds before starting the engine will usually start the car then car will throw up caution light that gas cap is not tightly closed or pump not getting proper pressure.
