On my 2017 Accord Touring 3.5 v6, when the vcm feature causes the engine to run on less than 6 cylinders it causes a annoying vibration in the engine and has been known to foul spark plugs and build up carbon deposits in some cylinders and piston rings, causing premature engine failure. This is a well documented problem known by Honda. I understand that this problem has been litigated in the courts, yet Honda refuses to take any action to resolve the issue. I plan to trade this thing before it reaches the point where a serious problem develops. If you own one of these models you might want to do some research.
