- Summary
- "TECHLINE SUMMARY ARTICLE - DOES THE CLOCK RESET OR SHOW THE WRONG TIME? WEÂ’RE AWARE OF THIS ISSUE AND HAVE IT UNDER INVESTIGATION. A BAD CHIP IN THE AUDIO UNIT MAY BE THE CULPRIT. THIS CHIP WORKS WITH THE GPS ANTENNA, WHICH SETS THE TIME. IF THE CHIP IS BAD, IT WONÂ’T ACCURATELY COMMUNICATE WITH THE GPS SATELLITES, CAUSING THE CLOCK TO RESET OR SHOW THE WRONG TIME. THIS CAN BE A TOUGH ISSUE TO TROUBLESHOOT. THE ONLY FIX FOR IT IS TO REPLACE THE AUDIO UNIT. REMANUFACTURED UNITS HAVE BEEN UPDATED. IN THE NEAR FUTURE, WEÂ’LL BE POSTING A SERVICE BULLETIN."
