Under certain conditions, the top display panel is dimly lit. A common scenario that causes this is: 1. Start the engine 2. Immediately turn the head lights on 3. Wait for the display panels to "boot" up 4. At this point, the top display is dimly lit Workaround- Turn the headlights off and then back on; the top display will now have normal brightness NOTE: I've only experienced the issue when using the headlights.
