2016, bought new from Southpoint Honda Durham NC. This is 3rd car with in 30 days. First they try to sell used car at new price, 2nd car had same issue, flittering noise when fan is turned on high then a week later they gave me another car, which was ok for 2 weeks, yesterday I noticed noise is awful. When AC is on, fan is on high noise isn't noticeable. I am thinking when AC is off, fresh air vent is open that's where the noise is coming from. But Honda dealer and Hond Inc has not been unresponsive. My next stop is media. That's why I am here on this website. Brand new car should not have this kind of issues. If there are enough folks out there with similar problems, this could be potentially big law suit.
We test-drove several new Honda Accords (2016)--there is a horrible "popping" noise when the fan and defroster are turned on--it sounds like bad wind noise when a back window is open while driving on the highway--although all the windows were closed and the noise happens even when the car is idling and not being driven. After hearing that on more than one new Accord, we decided there was no way we could stand that noise and we decided not to buy a Honda.
