Hard shift with a distinctive loud clunk in shifting from 1st gear into 2nd gear. It also seemed to happe when it was downshifting into first gear.
Happened out of the blue. I proceeded to my destination which was a mile away. Parked the car, and left it sitting for about 10 minutes. When I started the car again, the problem is gone. It was such a disturbing feeling. I was envisioning having to go to the dealer for warranty work and trying to figure out when I could do that. I wonder how long it will be before I experience this problem again.
After the car sat for two months, the battery charge was too low to start. After properly jump starting the car, I drove the car and noticed right away that the car shifted between 1st and 2nd gear hard, as if it were down shifting for passing. I returned home and shut the car off. When I went to go the the Honda Dealership, the problem stopped.
