This is the third time that I've had to get my rotors resurfaced. The first time it was complimentary, but the second and third time was covered by me. I do not feel that I should have to cover these costs for a brand new car. I have a little over 39,000 miles on my car and this is way too soon to have issues with my rotors.I'm going to contact Honda today
I purchased my vehicle towards the end of December 2015 with 100 miles on it. By the end of June 2015, I began to notice that when I brake, any mileage over 55, there was vibration in the steering wheel. I took the vehicle back to the dealer and was advised that the rotors need to be resurfaced. I was advised that this would be covered under warranty.
It is surprising that I would need to get this procedure done after owning my car for less than a year.

Don't even want the car anymore!! Honda checked it out. Checked the brakes, no sensors showing anything, brakes are not worn but there is definitely a problem with the brakes and the rubbing and idling issue too with the engine. Dealership says there is nothing they can do because they can find nothing wrong!! Drives great on the highway but something is definitely amiss. This is the 3rd Honda I have owned!! Disappointed with the BRAND NEW car!!!! This will be my last Honda ever!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
This problem occurred multiple times. While in a slow speed break, the front rotor(s) make a vibration and a low pitched, pulsating noise. The dealership resurfaced the rotors and the problem stopped for about 1K miles. The issue happens intermittently and I brought the car to another dealership when it happened again. The issue could not be replicated and the Honda dealership would not perform any maintenance until the issue could be proven.
