Excessive Wind Noise
2015 Honda Accord
This problem may be covered under warranty. Ask your Honda dealer.
CarComplaints.com Notes: Some people think the seats in the 2015 Accord are uncomfortable, which is a problem that has plagued the Accord since 2008.
However our opinion is the seats have gotten better, & aside from that issue, the 2015 model year seems relatively trouble free.

- It's The Cheap Windows - "Cars with laminated windows will be less noisy than those with standard windows. Those with extra thick glass will be quieter than vehicles with laminated glass." In my 2015 Accord, the factory had installed the Honda noise-reduction kit. Still too noisy. I had my auto body shop look at the problem. The window and door gaskets are all fine; you can't slip a piece of paper between them, so they're not the source of window wind noise. It's the cheap, thin windows! Luxury cars have shatter-proof side windows with plastic between two glass plates, just like the windshield. Best bet is to install Honda's own side window wind deflectors.

I PURCHASED THIS VEHICLE LAST WEEK AND NOTICED IT HAS EXCESSIVE WIND NOISE. THE WINDOWS ARE ROLLED UP TIGHT BUT YOU STILL HEAR THE NOISE WHEN GOING 50 MPH OR MORE. I AM DISGUSTED BECAUSE THIS IS MY FIRST HONDA CERTIFIED PURCHASE AND THIS IS A MAJOR ISSUE. THE SERVICE GUY TOLD ME THAT IT IS A CHARACTERISTIC OF THE CAR AND IT CAN'T BE FIXED, NEEDLESS TO SAY I AM PISSED, BECAUSE IF I KNEW THAT THIS WAS A CHARACTERISTIC OF THE CAR, I WOULD NOT HAVE PURCHASED IT.. I WILL BE TRADING IT SOON. VANN YORK HONDA SOLD ME A LEMON!
