CarComplaints.com Notes: The 2013-2014 Honda Accord is showing signs of an electrical problem with the starter failing soon after the 36K mile warranty expires. It's compounded by reports that the OEM battery doesn't have sufficient amps to start the V6 reliably after a year or two.
For now we are rating this problem with the "Beware" seal because it's occurring so soon after the 36K mile warranty expires. The upshot is when your Accord won't start, that's never good, but especially bad when it's just a few years old.
Also once again, owners are complaining that the 2014 Honda Accord seats are uncomfortable. Uncomfortable seats has been a significant complaint with the Accord since the 2008 model year.

There is a distinct horizontal line for the low beam headlights. Below the line, the road is well lighted. Above the line is darkness. The problem is . . . the lighted area of the road is only about 2 car lengths ahead making it difficult to see clearly beyond that space. I consulted the owner's manual to see if I could make an adjustment myself to raise the light level a little higher. "Back in the day", you were able to make an adjustment up or down by turning a screw near the headlight assembly. I couldn't find any such screw and there was nothing in the owner's manual about making manual adjustments. It recommended taking the car to the dealership. I took my car (2014 Honda Accord) to the dealership to have the headlights adjusted upwards and they said it is not possible to adjust the headlights - they are not adjustable. I think this is a bad design, very dangerous as well as very annoying. I have to drive frequently with my high beams on just to be able to see enough of the road ahead of me. Then I am constantly having to turn off the high beams when cars approach me from the opposite direction.
I have never had a car that had such a distinct horizontal line of light/dark. On all my other cars, the light gradually faded around the edges. In the Accord, there is a definite "line" making it difficult to see above the line and more than 2 car lengths ahead of you. Has anyone else noticed/reported this issue ?
