CarComplaints.com Notes: The 2013-2014 Honda Accord is showing signs of an electrical problem with the starter failing soon after the 36K mile warranty expires. It's compounded by reports that the OEM battery doesn't have sufficient amps to start the V6 reliably after a year or two.
For now we are rating this problem with the "Beware" seal because it's occurring so soon after the 36K mile warranty expires. The upshot is when your Accord won't start, that's never good, but especially bad when it's just a few years old.
Also once again, owners are complaining that the 2013 Honda Accord seats are uncomfortable. Uncomfortable seats has been a significant complaint with the Accord since the 2008 model year.

This was noticed early this morning right before my child's driving test. We went early in the morning that my child can practice a little bit the parallel parking. After several tries I was told the steering wheel was not able to turn any more when backing up for the parallel parking. I had to pull the car off and was not able to find anything wrong - even no any error lights or signals - except unable to turn the steering wheel while backing up. I was able to turn it while driving forward, though.
I was initially really frustrated that my child would fail the driving test the last minute due to steering wheel problem. But thank God that after parking it in the parking lot for some time, I tried it again driving forward and backing up and it worked OK again. And thank God it worked during my child's driving test that is passed with a flying score. But this brings up to me a big concern that a hidden issue of steering failure is with the car that would cause horrible results. I am going to go to a dealer and complain it to the manufacture that this has to be fixed.
