CarComplaints.com Notes: The 2012 Honda Accord has a solid reputation (so far), with one very significant flaw: uncomfortable seats.
Owners have consistently reported uncomfortable seats with the entire 8th generation (2008-2012) of Honda Accords. Complaints range from back pain to leg circulation problems due to bad lumbar support, cushioning, & seat angle. Complaints aren't limited to only a certain body type -- the seat comfort problems are from a wide spectrum of owner height & weight.
The common theme we hear is "we never noticed this during the test drive." Unfortunately for unwary buyers, the seat pain is noticeable after 15-20 minutes.

New 2012 Accord Coupe list $37,000. Car pulls severely to the left ( into oncoming traffic!). Highway driving is dangerous since I have to keep pulling the steering wheel to the right to compensate. After a short drive, my arm starts hurting from the constant correcting. Took car in to dealership 4 times and dealership did an alignment and stated the car was fixed. They claim is "the crown of the road that is responsible! Several of my friends drove the car and instantly detected the problem, yet the dealer states that " four of our employees drove the car and can't find any problems". Try to contact Honda officials, impossible. Drive car on different highways, temperatures, conditions, speed with the same results- car pulls sharply to the left. After my last dealer visit that didn't solve the problem, I checked the tire pressure and was shocked to see it was 39 lbs!! The "techs" didn't even check the tire pressure when searching for a solution. I can't understand why Honda can't solve this problem, aren't they supposed to be a industry leader?? The dealership SHOULD have picked this up in the "PDI" ( Pre delivery inspection), but didn't. Now THEY ARE ANNOYED AT ME!!!! This dealership ( STERLING HONDA, on JAMES st. in HAMILTON , ONT.) has terrible reviews and I should have checked, but Honda surprises me. Their quality, brand image is NOT what it used to be. There are several items on this car that are annoying. Ride is VERY harsh, seats are uncomfortable ( check other sites to confirm this), the blind spots are huge and dangerous, controls aren't intuitive. This is the worst car I have ever owned, the dealership experience has been terrible and corporate response lousy!! I HATE THIS ACCORD!!!!!! I wish I would NEVER had bought this car. Don't buy a HONDA, my 2008 Hyundai V6 was 100% better, cheaper, more comfortable and reliable. And the dealer response was great!!!
