CarComplaints.com Notes: The 2011 Honda Accord has a solid reputation (so far), with one very significant flaw: uncomfortable seats.
Owners have consistently reported uncomfortable seats with the entire 8th generation (2008-2012) of Honda Accords. Complaints range from back pain to leg circulation problems due to bad lumbar support, cushioning, & seat angle. Complaints aren't limited to only a certain body type -- the seat comfort problems are from a wide spectrum of owner height & weight.
The common theme we hear is "never noticed this during the test drive." Unfortunately for unwary buyers, the seat pain is noticeable after 15-20 minutes.
My Accord 2011 model car is jerking while driving when odometer hits around 30 to 45 MPH. Not sure what is the cause. I always did my car service on time.
A leak around the from axle where it meets up with the transmission. Fluid leaking from bad seal. I saw on a GOV. site that this issue was under investigation but as of this date no recall. I paid out of my own pocket for an issue that should have been covered through Honda. Others have had the same issue and it sounds like a design issue to me, or less than acceptable parts. More than likely cheap parts from Mexico or China. Quality has taken a hit Honda. Keep in mind there are other car makers out there. My wife has a Toyota, old with no issues. Think I may be making the switch myself. This along with the junk front seats make me want to sell it. Problem is, resale is less than expected. I want the money back that I spent on Honda's mistakes.
