CarComplaints.com Notes: The 2011 Honda Accord has a solid reputation (so far), with one very significant flaw: uncomfortable seats.
Owners have consistently reported uncomfortable seats with the entire 8th generation (2008-2012) of Honda Accords. Complaints range from back pain to leg circulation problems due to bad lumbar support, cushioning, & seat angle. Complaints aren't limited to only a certain body type -- the seat comfort problems are from a wide spectrum of owner height & weight.
The common theme we hear is "never noticed this during the test drive." Unfortunately for unwary buyers, the seat pain is noticeable after 15-20 minutes.

From time of purchase of my 2011 accord that was NEW; no one ever checked the battery. The post going inside of the battery was loose. I had all maintenance at Honda of Kingsport in Tn. The 15,000 mile tuneup was done there and no one checked the battery. The post being loose caused my car to surge and over rev. I took my car in and told them what was happening. Honda of Kingsport said they had to bring in a person from the factory to look at my car. 6 hours later they smiled said nothing was wrong after running through " computer test". The situation made me feel dismissed and that I was a woman THAT KNEW NOTHING ABOUT HER CAR. In late Sept. I went over a speed bump and my car cut off then "SURGED" forward. Thought it was the fuel filter or bad gas. I did a Sea foam gas treatment. Nothing else happened until oct. 20,2014. I started my car for the first time that day and everything was normal, went to my first stop; leaving (second start of the day) normal, third stop of the day my car's dash lights only came on. Checked under the hood and there was a massive amount of battery acid on one of the posts. This even ate through my battery. After being boosted went straight to a nearby garage to correct the problem. THEY DISCOVERED THE LOOSE POST! I purchased a new battery no option. i paid to have my car serviced CHECKING THE BATTERY is on that check list. NO ONE; NOT EVEN A HONDA SPECIALIST CHECKED THE BATTERY! Robbed of money and trust! Plus time from work, and the battery cost, I PAID MULTIPLE TIMES for this service and NO ONE CARED ENOUGH TO DO THEIR JOB!!! Mad as HELL.
